Bangalore University’s accreditation began in 2002 when it achieved the esteemed Five Star Status from NAAC, marking a significant milestone in its academic excellence. With subsequent reaccreditations in 2008 and 2016, maintaining an ‘A’ Grade status, the institution consistently demonstrated its commitment to high-quality education. Mooting in the modern world of legal studies has become a vital tool in preparing a law student for the profession. University Law College takes great pride in the fact that it enjoys an unmatched track record of producing great distinguished Advocates and Judges at all levels of the Courts. The college has successfully organized 27 All India Moot Court Competitions in the past, and this year marks the prestigious milestone of hosting the 28th All India Moot Court Competition (AIMCC), underscoring its dedication to fostering excellence in legal advocacy.
ALL INDIA MOOT COURT COMPETITION
The annual national level moot court competition hosted by ULC is the flagship activity of the student body, the Society of Mooters. The competition attracts participants from law colleges all across the country. The Judges of the High Court of Karnataka preside over the finals of the moot court competition. The Twenty-Ninth edition of the All India Moot Court Competition of ULC will be held in 30 May to June 1st 2025.
