The Campus Placement & Internship Cell is a student – run body of University Law College, Bangalore, functioning within the College framework to provide for placements as well as internship opportunities to the students. The Placement Cell functions independently throughout the academic year under the supervision of the College – appointed Faculty Coordinator, the Senior Faculty member and the Principal of the College.
The Campus Placement & Internship Cell strives to provide a platform for students to receive job offers, internships, placements and any other employment opportunities by approaching potential Recruiters and inviting them to conduct on-campus or off- campus placements, interviews and recruitment processes. It seeks to promote a healthy relationship between the students, the College Faculty and the esteemed Recruiters, for the ultimate benefit of all involved.
Through the Campus Placement & Internship Cell, we are attempting to create a strong bond between the Students and the Recruiters, which include Law Firms, Companies, Government & Non-Government Organizations, Judicial Authorities, Advocates, Solicitors and other Organizations likely to employ students of University Law College. Law offices, firms and companies like Dua Associates, King and Partridge, Anup S Shah Law Firms, L & T Constructions, King Stubb and Kasiva, Aditya Narayan & Co., Shiva and Co., Spectrum Legal, M/s Sundaraswamy and Ramdas, Just Law, Equitas Legal, Agraa Legal, Pragati Law Chambers, Thakur & Sinha Law Offices LLP, HPE, Wipro and many others have been part of the Placement and Internship Cell in the past. Many of our students are placed in these leading firms companies with attractive pay packages.
We sincerely hope to cater to the requirements of the Recruiters for Associates, Articled Clerks and Interns from among the students. Further detailed information regarding the Placement Cell and the Recruitment processes are provided in the Brochure.

Procedure for Recruitment:
Types of recruitment:
◾ On campus- shall include the process where even a part of the interview is held in the college. It also includes tests/interviews conducted via video conferencing or through voice call.
◾ Off campus- firms at liberty to call for interviews outside the campus or to their office.
Guidelines for firms-
- The Recruiters’ registration is to be done prior to recruitment.
- The Recruiters can have Induction programmes or other sessions of similar kind to explain the nature of the job or for other similar purposes. [Pre-placement talk]
- The Recruiters are free to stipulate all reasonable eligibility criteria to filter the candidates at the threshold of the recruitment process.
- The Recruiters are required to disclose all the conditions of the vacant job for which the recruitment process is going on. Disclosure at threshold is to be made about the number of vacant positions, salary and other terms of employment. Any additional stipulated conditions is to be informed to the candidate and the College Placement Cell subsequently.
- All communication with the candidate till the end of the recruitment process shall happen through the College Placement Cell.
- Recruiters can have their own structure for the recruitment process which may include group discussions, aptitude tests, interviews and any other method.
- Recruiters are requested to mail or deposit with the Placement Cell, their list of selected candidates along with a list of candidates who have been wait‐listed, in order of their preference.
- The selected candidates who feature on more than one Recruiters List will be given the liberty of accepting the offer of their choice. In the event of a selected student not joining a Recruiter, for any reason whatsoever, the candidates on the waiting list will be elevated. This will be done according to the order of preference given by the recruiters. The final decision of the candidates will thereafter be intimated to the Recruiters.
